Hans & Willsy – Twins

With ‘19 Logies and 400 showbiz years’ between them, ‘One and a half’ Adelaide Icons Anne Wills and Hans hit the stage of The German Club. In what can only be described as costumes reminiscent of double disco balls of sparkliness these unexpected ‘Twins’ both with amazing legs and their band, ‘The Triplets’ opened with the Elton John and Kiki Dee hit, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.

With hits spanning from the ‘60s to ‘80s, 72-year-old Willsy was accompanied by her sister Sue as they reminisced of their time spent in Vietnam in the ‘60s entertaining the troops. Hans focused on the more ‘German’ or contemporary songs including, a rambunctious rendition of It’s Raining Men.

These two Adelaide legends may not be ‘Twins’ as such but they definitely put on an exceptional Fringe show that any Adelaidian would relish.
